Financial Gravity (formerly Applied Behavioral Finance) is a fintech app built 100% on AWS Serverless tech. The goal was to keep costs down at the start when the project was gaining users. As more people signed up, the client didn't want to worry about scaling, servers, or downtime caused by spikes.
The whole thing was built with:

Everything was connected using multiple CloudFormation files to keep things organized and make tracking changes easier. This also makes it simple to deploy the same setup across different environments.
Developers had a straightforward environment to work in because they didn't have to handle the infrastructure themselves. With CodePipeline, each GitHub repo was set to automatically deploy new code on specific branches. This let the devs focus on coding, while the stack handled the deployment automation.
