Security7 helps companies secure their systems by monitoring infrastructure and logs, and offering audits and advice on best practices.
They mainly focus on log analysis. They needed a serverless way to standardize log formats because data was coming from different sources, in various formats and structures.
The setup included an API Gateway endpoint and a Lambda function. The Lambda had multiple modules to handle the different incoming formats. This was key for flexibility and future updates to log formats.
The entire project was defined in a CloudFormation file, making it easy for the client to deploy across multiple accounts.
