TonicHQ, a tech staffing company, needed a serverless way to automate a bunch of small repetitive tasks in their workflow. These tasks were boring, easy to mess up, and took up a lot of time when done manually.
I set up a simple system using API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and a CloudFormation template. Each part was focused on doing one small task, making the whole thing modular and easy to handle.
After automating many of these tasks, the client had a solution that was easy to expand. Since he's pretty technical himself and the code was clean, well-organized, and well-commented, he could make small tweaks whenever needed. With auto-deployment turned on, he didn't have to think about how to update the Lambda functions, everything was automated and smooth.
